About Us
Oakwood Baptist Church is a body of believers committed to worshipping and serving Jesus Christ. We are affliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, Missouri Baptist Convention, and Blue River-Kansas City Baptist Association. We join with like minded Christians in spreading the gospel around the world. We fully support the Cooperative Program of the SBC and the 2000 Baptist Faith and Message.
Christ reached out to people of all ages and backgrounds and at Oakwood Baptist Church we desire to do the same. That's why at Oakwood we have ministries for adults, youth, and children. We also have special ministry projects throughout the year. We desire to provide a place for everyone to study the Scriptures, fellowship together, and minister to others through numerous service opportunities. We believe the Church has five scriptrual obligations.
